Sydney Mines Ramblers (1-1) won its first battle of the tournament, an easy victory over the Quebec team.

Atlantic got 3 runs batted in, in the 1st , and 3 more in the 5th inning.

In 4 innings and two thirds on the mound for the Ramblers, Nathan Doyle was solid with 10 strikeouts.

At bat, Sam Snow hit a 2 run blast into center field, good for 2 RBIs in the 5th. Ryan Lawless also produced 2 RBIs.

Valleyfield lost its second game at this Canadian championship. The offense is not going anywhere, with just 4 hits today.

Atlantic (1-1) will go head to head with Prairie (0-1) tomorrow at 1pm and Québec (0-2) next opponent is red hot BC, tomorrow at 4pm.
